Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and DreamU (“DreamU”, “we”, “us”). They cover our apps, our website, and the services they connect to. By creating an account or using DreamU, you agree to them.

1. WHAT DREAMU IS

DreamU helps high-school athletes present themselves to college coaches. You build a profile, choose schools you are interested in, and send an introduction. Coaches at those schools receive an email and a link to your profile, and can reply to you through DreamU.

2. WHO CAN USE IT

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We ask for your date of birth and verify your age on our servers. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will deactivate it.

If you are under 18, you should read these Terms together with a parent or guardian before using DreamU, and you should tell them that coaches will be able to see the profile you publish.

You may hold one account, and the information in it must be about you and must be accurate.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT

Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

4. YOUR CONTENT

Your profile, photos, highlight videos and everything else you add remain yours. You give us permission to store that content and to show it to the coaches you choose to contact, and to display it on your public profile page. That permission exists so we can run the service; it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are required to keep or that remain in backups for a short period.

Only upload content you have the right to upload, and that shows you.

5. CONTACTING COACHES

DreamU sends messages on your behalf. To keep this useful for coaches and fair to other athletes, we limit how often you can contact the same school, and we honour any coach's request to stop being contacted.

Coaches reply through DreamU. We do not give coaches your email address or phone number, and we do not give you theirs — conversations stay on the platform. Do not use DreamU to send anything abusive, misleading, or that is not genuinely about your athletic recruitment.

6. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

Do not impersonate anyone; do not create an account for someone else; do not misstate your age, school, or athletic or academic record; do not harass anyone; do not scrape, copy or resell coach information from the service; do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to DreamU.

7. COACHES ARE NOT PART OF DREAMU

Coaches and schools are independent of us. We do not employ them, control them, or speak for them, and their contact details come from publicly published athletics directories.

8. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS

Some features require a paid subscription, purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by Apple or Google under their terms, not by us — including refunds. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.

9. NO GUARANTEE OF RECRUITMENT

We want to be direct about this, because it is the reason people pay for DreamU. We do not promise that any coach will read your message, reply to it, watch your highlights, or recruit you. We provide a way to reach out and to present yourself well. What happens after that is up to coaches, and nothing on DreamU should be read as a prediction, an endorsement, or a guarantee of a place, an offer, or a scholarship.

10. ENDING YOUR ACCOUNT

You can delete your account at any time in Settings; what we delete and what we keep is described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that we believe belongs to someone under 13, or where we need to in order to protect someone.

11. SERVICE CHANGES AND AVAILABILITY

DreamU is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we do not promise the service will always be available or error-free.

12. LIABILITY

To the extent the law allows, DreamU is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of ________________, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of ________________.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

If we change these Terms we will update the date above, and we will tell you directly if the change is significant. Continuing to use DreamU after a change means you accept it.
